On Saturday morning we will provide transport from Nordhorn to Almelo. </p> <div id = "white"> <h3>Program for june 4 and 5, 2010:</h3> <p> <h3>Friday, june 4.</h3> <ul> <li>from 17.00 hrs: Reception of participants that camp in Nordhorn. </li> <li>from 19.00 hrs: <strong>BBQ</strong> (free for registered participants) </li> </ul></p> <p> <h3>Saturday, june 5.</h3> <ul> <li>06.30 hrs: <strong> Wake-up call</strong> for the campers in Nordhorn </li> <li>07.00 hrs: <strong> Breakfast </strong> on the campsite </li> <li>07.30 hrs: <strong> Assemble</strong> for transport to Almelo</li> <li>08:00 hrs: <strong> Transfer </strong> to Almelo</li> <li>08:45 hrs: <strong> Unload</strong> in Almelo</li> <li>09.00 hrs: <strong> start EKR 2009</strong> from Vechtesee</li> <li>12.00 hrs: <strong> start of half-distance </strong> at the double Lock Agelerweg </li> <li>14.00 hrs: <strong> Start assemble @ the border lock</strong></li> <li>16.30 hrs: <strong>Departure</strong> for the last stretch to the Vechtesee.</li> <li>17.00 hrs: <strong> Arrival @ BCN</strong> </li> </ul></p> <a name="kanoen"></a> <h2>Canoeing: </h2> <img class="photo" src="../images/kanorally.jpg" height="200" alt="canoerally between Almelo and Nordhorn" /> <p> On Saturday, June 5, The EKR organizes the tour on the Almelo-Nordhorn canal. This 35 Km long tour takes you trough the beautiful Twents and German landscape. On the canal, only paddling is allowed. </p> <p> Participants can camp on the site of the BCN and are welcome on Friday from 17:00 hrs onwards From 19:00 hrs is a free BBQ for all registered participants. </p> <p> Participants that travel to Almelo are expected in the  Centrumhaven  in Almelo, where the EKR will start Saturday morning @ 9.00 hrs. At the end of the rally the organisation will provide transport back to Almelo. </p> <p> The rally has 14(!) land-transports. Some of these cross busy roads. Please be careful. At the location  Bolle Jan , the organisation will transport the canoes to the border lock. Canoeists that have wheels for their canoe and would like to stretch their legs can walk these few Km s. <br /> Participants that registered at the start of the rally will be rewarded with a medal upon completion of the rally. The organisation will do their best to make the rally as safe as possible, however participation is for your own risk. </p> <p> For detailed information of the route, check "The Rally" at the top of this page. </p> <p> For inexperienced canoeists the rally might be too much. At the double Lock at the Agelerweg, the half length version of the Rally starts at 12.00 hrs. </p> <p class="block"> <strong>Registration is free! </strong><br /> See our <a href="en_contact.html">contact page</a> for further information and registration.
